By the time you've figured out how you're supposed to entertain 2*bleep*, seasons (four in number) have already pranced by; there arrives mistah 2*bleep*, screeching to a halt outside your door (in a slightly unadorned car this time 'round), and without the slightest pretense of courtesy, comes straight barging in, asking to be welcomed...

It is no mean feat growing up, even more troublesome is justifying your existence and your behaviour at a certain age.

Hint: 0 <= *bleep* <=9
Go figure (pun intended) ;-)

GunsGuitar-n-Roses....

But then there's a moment like tonight, a profound and transcendent experience, the feeling as if a door has opened, and it's all because of that instrument, that incredible, magical instrument.

BLACK - What's It Got That White Aint

Am so glad they refrained from christening it BLACK - The Darkness

(No reviews. We've got enough spiders weaving their two cents worth on the world wide web. Self-consolotary euphimism for I am bad at critique)

The production reminds one of the works of roadside artists in Europe (and in some parts, the continent and its customs too). There is an inherent richness in earthy tones, and I'd say it is Bhansali's playful indulgence in these particular colors that has largely contributed towards the (much-touted-and-justified) poetic feel of the movie.

He could have cut down on the utopian sentimentality though (note to self too), especially towards the end of the movie ...instantly stirs up memories of (spiteful jabs at the Delete button when confronted with the) old-men-who-died-and-went-to-heaven-and-poor-wives-who-were-left-grieving-and-long-stemmed-red-roses-that-stopped-turning-up-on-the-doorstep-every-morning-thereafter FORWARDS...arrrrrgh
(Nobody ever wrote about the milkmen who'd died the same day as the old men :P)

All said and done, a virtuoso surfaces, after long..
