Is it pride?
Or shyness?
Stubborness?
Not to leave out self-respect
No, its just that he/she is an introvert
Or rather headstrong
And what about the unwillingness to adjust?

The ego, I think, is easily the most bewildering (and the most misunderstood?) abstract notion that exists.
A trait that can see you fall or help you rise
One which can stop you from getting there or help you get there
A trait strong enough to lead to self-destruction and at the same time powerful enough to lead to triumph.
